ICU RN Night SHIFT
TRAVELER FOR 13 WEEKS CONTRACT
Our shifts run 6 to 6:30. RNs will be able to float to other units if our ICU census drops. A 1.5x OT will be only offered after 40 hours per week.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Ventilator management experience preferred
5. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
6. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
7. EPIC experience preferred
8. PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate (only required if floating to Emergency Department)
9. NIHSS Certificate
- The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation;
- assessment/reassessment of cardiac thythm
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice;
- directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU;
- directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients;
- communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology;
- Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.;
- maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
